A2LA ACCREDITATION MAINTAINED, SCOPE EXPANDED
The DHI Calibration Laboratory underwent an annual survey for A2LA accreditation in April, 2002. As a result, A2LA accreditation of DHI calibration services to ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 is maintained. The scope of measurement capabilities has been expanded and best measurement capabilities improved in several areas. By Mutual Recognition Agreement, Test Reports and Calibration Certificates issued by A2LA accredited laboratories are accepted on an equal basis by signatories of the European Cooperation for Accreditation (EA) and many other accrediting bodies (visit www.A2LA2.net for additional information).

DHI Tech Note No. 7920TN01B has been revised to add the new PG7202 gas operated liquid lubricated piston gauges,
the 1 MPa/kg PG7302 piston-cylinder. Thanks to reduced uncertainties in piston-cylinder effective area in the DHI pressure calibration chain, typical measurement uncertainty has been reduced for existing piston gauge models.
