Pressure Calibration - Piston Gauges
Primary Pressure Standards -
PG7000™ Series and FPG8000™ Series

PG7000 Series

PG7000 Series Piston Gauges State of the art primary pressure standards for the lowest uncertainty levels. Pressure calibration standards based on the fundamental principle of mass loaded onto a piston to apply a known force to a known effective area. Includes DHI PG7000™ reference level pressure standards.

PG7102™ PG7102 piston gauge
PG7102 with MPC1
Pneumatic operation up to 1,600 psi (11 MPa).
Gauge pressure and absolute pressure by
addition of atmospheric pressure.

PG7202™
PG7202 Piston Gauge
Pneumatic operation up to
16,000 psi (110 MPa).

Gauge pressure and absolute pressure by addition of atmospheric pressure.
     - Operates directly in gas avoids difficult to
       use liquid/gas separators.
     - Gas operated/liquid lubricated piston-
       cylinder.
     - High line, differential pressure.
     - Can be upgraded from Type 5200 piston
       gauge.
     - PG7202 has been assigned
       NSN 6685-01-519-4123

PG7302™
PG7302 Piston Gauge
PG7302 with OPG1
Hydraulic operation up to
72,500 psi (500 MPa).

Gauge pressure and absolute pressure by addition of atmospheric pressure.
     - PG7302 has been assigned
       NSN 6685-01-482-2908

PG7601™
PG7601 Piston Gauge
PG7601 with PPC4
Pneumatic operation up to 1,000 psi (7 MPa).
Gauge pressure and absolute pressure by reference to an evacuated bell jar.

PG7000-AMH™
AMH (Automated Mass Handlers)
AMH-38 and AMH-100
Automated mass handling accessory for all PG7000 models including PG7601 in absolute by vacuum operation.

FPG8000 Series
FPG8601™
Automated Calibration System for
Very Low Pressure

Force balanced piston gauges operating on the principle of a piston-cylinder combined with a force balanced load cell.

Traceable automated calibration of ranges as low as 13 Pa (100 m Torr).

fpg8601 force balanced piston gauge
- Covers the range of 0 to 15 kPa (113 Torr) in gauge, absolute differential and absolute modes.
- Resolution to 1 mPa (0.0075 mTorr, 0.000004 in. H2O).
- Measurement uncertainty to:± (5 mPa + 30 ppm of reading) in gauge and absolute differential
mode, ± (8 mPa + 30 ppm of reading) in absolute mode.
- Fully automated operation including pressure control and DUT data acquisition allows
multi-increment tests to be run unattended. Integrated thermal transpiration correction
  available when needed.
