FIX: “*OPT?” command response missing a comma
FIX: A large negative measurement does not generate an under-pressure message on all RPT types.

ADD: Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Czech, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish are supported in the advanced user interface. An Earth icon on the main run screen accesses the language selection screen.
FIX: PPC4 with external RPM4 active in negative gauge mode alarms and will not set pressure when indicated pressure is negative.

ADD: Support a "knob jog" secondary pane option when the PPC4 is actively controlling a pressure in dynamic control mode.
ADD: Command Interpreter functionality added to interpret the remote commands of other pressure controllers.
CHG: Support up to 20 Advanced Auto Tests rather than 10.  This firmware release will erase any existing Auto Tests.
FIX: AutoTest with non-zero start point still displayed "0 to ..." as label

FIX: Low pressure control can be unstable, and not get Ready.
FIX: Pressure control should detect instability and make necessary corrections in control times to stabilize.
FIX: Control with BG transducer (BG15k, G15k) can end up with step-type oscillation when using tight hold limits.

Instructions:

 

 

Download the file.

Download the file by right clicking on "PPC4.bin" and selecting "Save Target As...".

 

Run Winflash and select the file downloaded as the file to write to the product.

 

Make sure the correct COM port of the product is connected to a RS232 port on the host PC.

 

Use a null modem cable to COM2 port of PG7000 Piston Gauge.

 

Use a standard RS232 cable to COM1 port of PPC, PPC, RPM and molbox.

 

If your product has
an model number ending in “-AF”,
it requires specific
“-AF” embedded software (see [USAF])

 

The updating of embedded software should only be performed after given specific instructions to do so from a DHI Authorized Service Center.

 

If the update isn't performed properly, your product will be inoperable until it is.
